Planning
We chose “Planning” to be part of our name to underscore the importance we place on the many upfront activities we perform for you. Our thorough process ensures that you receive the package of benefits that best suits your needs, budget and business dynamics. We meet with you to understand and assess your benefit objectives and research what similar businesses offer their employees. We translate that information and our additional insights into a plan design. Then we scour the marketplace for products and carriers. And because we take a proactive approach to managing benefit programs, we can negotiate rate relief with all the major insurance carriers and provide a wide array of options as well as competitive pricing.

Implementation
To implement your programs, we set up their coverage for the annual benefits cycle. We also review carriers’ contracts for accuracy of terms/conditions and help enroll employees. Of utmost importance is the communication of benefits. Through a range of channels—print, onsite and online—we work with you to convey information to your employees. We find that the combination of print (benefits statements), onsite (benefit fairs) and online (HR website and online enrollment) provides employees with a comfort level regarding their benefits. They know that they can turn to their benefits carriers, our office and our website for quick responses to questions or problems.

Maintenance
Our clients rely on us to provide customer service for day-to-day account management. We also address and settle pressing issues and concerns, such as problematic claims, additions/terminations and billing. In addition to these critical hands-on functions, we conduct a mid-year review to evaluate the overall effectiveness of your benefits program: How is the plan design working? Is it meeting the stated objectives—both from HR and upper management perspectives? Can it be better and how? By monitoring and analyzing performance, we strive to provide you with the optimal plan for your needs. In addition, we sponsor free seminars on timely benefits/human resources topics to keep you up-to-date on trends and developments that impact your areas of responsibility.
